I plan on posting a 2-3 part series analyzing an NBA draft from top to bottom, seeing which players have been surprises, busts, and comparing their big board rankings with their actual draft spots.
The series should give insight on why the professionals, such as Chad Ford, make plenty of mistakes, and why they make many more correct predictions when given enough information. The series will also show that the success of an NBA player isn't 100% due to the players talent but many factors such as the team environment, coaching, team system, and financial situations.
I will reveal the draft I have chosen to analyze in the coming weeks, and should have the first part of the series posted by the end of the month.
